Faba Player and App Data Collection

The Faba Player is designed to prioritize minimal data collection. Usage data is collected when the Faba Player or the Faba App are in use, aiding in both improvements and troubleshooting.

Providing such data is mandatory to utilize the Faba Player or App.

The lawful grounds for data processing, for the improvement of the Player and App, stem from our genuine interest to elevate our services. When troubleshooting, the legal foundation is based on the contract agreement between both parties.

We also use certain usage data to enhance our business operations. The legal foundation here too lies in our genuine aspiration to upgrade our services.

To ensure the privacy of children and users, collected usage data is anonymized and consolidated into analytics data. This analytics data is devoid of personal information and can't be traced back to specific users or children.

When using the Faba Desktop App

Usage data collected helps in the Player's betterment. This includes data related to storage management, played audio specifics, system performance.

Error logs are retained for 30 days, assisting in identifying and resolving software issues.

When using the Faba App:

The App offers diverse audio content, including free audios. Users can record personal stories and associate them with a Faba Me Figurine for playback on the Faba Player or share them.

If users or their children record audio through the App for playback on the Faba Player, this recording is stored as a playlist on our servers. While we host these playlists, we cannot access or listen to them. Deletion of these playlists is possible at any point, either by the user or upon their request.

We advocate monitoring and controlling any audio recordings made by children to ensure their privacy and safety.

Data such as the App's usage duration and version is collected, though it remains unlinked to user accounts. Additionally, data about played audio is gathered.

Like with the Desktop App, error logs are stored for 30 days to assist in addressing software hitches.

Safeguards and Data Retention

We employ organizational, technological, and physical measures to ensure the security of your personal information. Personal data is retained only as long as necessary. Once not required, the data is destroyed or anonymized. Some legal mandates might necessitate longer retention. Details on data use duration are available in this policy.
